Insight into process moisture
The MA-600SF features custom-built sensors that mount to the sides of the screw feeder at an appropriate angle creating a microwave field in the shape of a semi-circle such that the field diameter equates to the height of the auger flight. As the material passes through the electromagnetic field the analyser detects changes in the microwave properties and displays the moisture percentage continuously in real time.
The real time measurement provides early warning to moisture increases that may lead to blockages or bulk handling difficulties. Alternatively, it may be used to determine material dry tons being fed by the screw feeder.
The control enclosure is mounted in close proximity of the sensors or it may be installed in the control or electrical switch room.
The user-friendly interface puts the power of easy set up and maintenance in the hands of the operator, designed with simple-to-use menus. The MA-600SF also features built in data storage and communication capabilities of the enable technical support via remote access for diagnostic purposes and periodic calibration verification. In addition, sending and receiving plant data has never been easier with a host of industry standard protocols to choose from.
